Ages Served:
Children ages 5–14
(Any child who is at least 5 and 13 or younger on the first day of camp is encouraged to join. Campers are grouped by age for activities.)
Location:
All camps are held at Mountain View Equestrian Riding’s facility in Golden, CO — just 30 minutes from downtown Denver and minutes from Lakewood, Morrison, Arvada, and Evergreen.

- Each camp session is two full days
Camp Description:
Mountain View Equestrian Riding offers affordable, hands-on summer horse camps where kids experience all aspects of horse care in a fun, engaging environment. Each day includes riding, grooming, games, and educational activities designed to build confidence, responsibility, and riding skills.
Camp highlights include riding in smaller groups to help grow riding skills, grooming and bathing horses, learning horse first aid and what to do in an emergency, painting horseshoes, horse-themed Jeopardy, a scavenger hunt, decorating horse-themed cookies, and a camper talent show.
Cost & Registration Details:
- Tuition: $300 per child
- Returning Camper Discount: $250 per child for families who attended last year
- Deposit: $50 fully refundable deposit required at registration to hold your spot
- Payment Due Dates:
- May 16 for June 16–17 camp
- June 21 for July 21–22 camp
- June 28 for July 28–29 camp
(Remaining balance is due exactly one month before each camp session.)
What Campers Need to Bring:
- Close-toed shoes
- Helmet (bike helmets are acceptable)
- Pants (jeans or leggings)
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle
- Packed lunch
Snacks and drinks (including Gatorade and Capri Suns) are provided in the morning and afternoon. Families are asked to share any allergies or food restrictions so accommodations can be made.
